Ensemble Abstraktion er dedikeret til grænsesøgende og kunstnerisk innovativ kammermusik
fra det 20. og 21. århundrede.

Under ledelse af dirigent og komponist Robert Andrew Baker præsenterer ensemblet klassikere
fra det moderne repertoire sammen med nyere og helt nye værker og søger at videreføre
den rige tradition for innovation og eksperimenter inden for kunstmusik
fra Danmark og udlandet.

Publikum kan forvente intense, tankevækkende og originale programmer
med danske og internationale kunstnere og komponister,
som er nogle af regionens mest dedikerede og kompetente fagfolk inden for ny musik.

Ensemble Abstraktion is dedicated to boundary-breaking and artistically innovative chamber music
from the 20th and 21st centuries.

Led by conductor and composer Robert Andrew Baker, the ensemble presents classics
of the modern repertoire alongside recent and brand-new works,
and seeks to continue the rich tradition of innovation and experimentation
in art-music from Denmark and abroad.

The public can expect intense, thought provoking, and original programmes
involving Danish and international performers and composers,
who are some of the region’s most dedicated and expert new music professionals.
